Research Network on Misdemeanor Justice

This dashboard presents data on long-term trends in lower level enforcement across seven U.S. jurisdictions that are part of the Research Network on Misdemeanor Justice: Durham, NC; Los Angeles, CA; Louisville, KY;  New York City, NY; Prince George’s County; MD; Seattle, WA; and St. Louis, MO. In each jurisdiction, local researchers partnered with local criminal justice agencies to collect, clean and analyze data on lower-level enforcement and produced public reports on trends over time. This dashboard updates some of the data from those reports and enables the user to analyze trends by jurisdiction, year, race, age and sex.
