Stephen Koppel

Senior Research Associate

Stephen is a Senior Research Associate at the Data Collaborate for Justice. He is currently doing research on the impact of several of New York’s recent criminal justice reforms. He also teaches courses in the Master’s Program in Criminal Justice at John Jay College. Prior to joining DCJ, he was a Senior Research Analyst at the New York City Criminal Justice Agency. He completed a predoctoral fellowship in behavioral science training at NYU, a J.D. at Brooklyn Law School, a Ph.D. at John Jay College, and is a member of the New York State Bar Association.
