consisting of experts discussing the importance of data collection, interpretation and dissemination when evaluating reform policies. Specifically, the panel discussed the recent Bail Elimination Act which became law in January 2020. Reinforcing the importance of conscious data interpretation, Erica stated that we cannot yet understand the impact of bail reform due to the additional effects of COVID-19 on crime.
