City Expands Award-Winning, Nationally Recognized Supervised Released Program in Response to State Bail Reform

In anticipation of new State bail reform measures, New York City will launch an expansion of its existing Supervised Release program to provide judges with an alternative to money bail in cases where additional support is required to ensure an individual returns to court. Several experts in the field were quoted in the city’s press release, including DCJ Director Preeti Chauhan.
